Teacher: (holding an animal picture book) Ok children, what animal is this one now?
Kids: A duck!
Teacher: Yes, do you know the sound that ducks make?
Kid M: Squeak squeak squeak!
Teacher: No, not a rubber duck. I mean a real duck.
Kid M: Oh! Quack quack quack!

can gaming make a better world? being a generally tech savvy country, i don’t doubt that gaming or simulation can be used to improve our own society and solve social problems. but of course i take this with a grain of salt. how do we ensure that we can get a good representation of the society to do this simulation, and not just the ones who can own a computer?
